What is the Team Dimensions Questionnaire?

Acorn’s Team Dimensions Model reduces the time it takes for your team to become a fully effective, high performing asset for your company, improving productivity and profitability.

It distils accepted theories and studies into 5 key areas which teams apply and then review, directly aiding leaders and their teams to achieve organisational or project performance goals.

Core to the Team Dimensions Model is an online questionnaire which is sent to the team members and stakeholders.

Our research indicates that there are several key enablers to teams, and our questionnaire focuses upon three of them:

      • TEAM TASK FUNCTION – We look at the way the team carries out tasks
      • TEAM SOCIAL FUNCTION – Factors that effect and influence the team, such as how support is provided for its members, how conflicts are resolved, and the overall social and emotional climate of the team.
      • REFLEXIVITY – How the team reflects; regularly reviewing the ways of achieving their objectives and the team’s methods of working.

Responses are anonymous and only trends are reported, ensuring honesty is promoted.

The findings from the questionnaire are applied to the model, enabling the team to identify developmental priorities that will result in improved performance.

The Team Dimensions Model and questionnaire are a highly beneficial tool set which can improve performance and have been proven to make large value returns. They can be applied at any stage of the project lifecycle or of a team’s maturity.
